Shayleen at A Mother’s Heart Midwifery is a blessing to my family and I. She began care for me around
the end of the third trimester, which made no difference at all. I bonded with her almost immediately. I
felt comfortable discussing all of my questions and concerns with her because she was always so
thorough and transparent. She gave me a sense of confidence moving towards the laboring process. When
the day came, she did frequent check-ins until she arrived. My labor experience was beautiful. It was
amazing! So much so that I am looking forward to birthing my next child with Shayleen.

About the Midwife

Shayleen Sammons

Shayleen is a wife, mother, and Christian. She is blessed to be married to her best friend Justin and they are the proud parents to three beautiful children, Hannah, Avery, and Dallin. Shayleen and her family currently live in Lexington, SC where they enjoy trips to the beach and attending Carolina football games as avid Gamecock fans.
